Finally, after a few months of teaser and leaks, Samsung officially unveiled the Galaxy S25 Edge. The new flagship smartphone precedes Apple’s potential iPhone 17 Air, and it is quite clear that Samsung wants to impress.

Samsung Galaxy S25 Edge Debuts with Ultra-Slim 5.8mm Body and 3,900 mAh Battery

Its most eye-catching feature? Its incredibly slim build. The phone is only 5.8mm and weighs 163 grams. To reach that height, Samsung did have to make some trade-offs on battery. The S25 Edge has a 3,900 mAh battery, which is lower than the competition.

Rapid charging. Wired charging gets up to 25W, and 55% in about 30 minutes — but with a Samsung charger, not included. Wireless charging is also integrated.

The screen is a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X. It has QHD+ resolution and a 1-120Hz adaptive refresh rate. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Ceramic 2 protection for extra ruggedness.

Internally, the phone is driven by the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. It comes with 12GB of RAM and includes 256GB or 512GB of storage.

The camera specifications are stunning. At the rear, there is a 200 MP primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture and OIS. Samsung claims it offers “2x optical quality zoom”. There is also a 12 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus, which can be used for macro shots. The 12 MP front camera is perfect for selfies and video calls.

Galaxy S25 Edge runs on Android 15 and One UI 7. The phone also features IP68 water and dust resistance rating. Galaxy S25 Edge also features a titanium frame, which gives it a premium look. It’s available in various colors, including Titanium Silver, Titanium Jetblack, and Titanium Icyblue. The size is 158.2 x 75.6 x 5.8 mm.
