Vivo T4 Ultra Coming Soon With Powerful Camera Setup

Vivo T4 Ultra

Vivo started teasing a new mid-range smartphone dubbed Vivo T4 Ultra through its Indian X account today. The main selling point of the new smartphone stands as its “Ultra-powerful zoom”. The T-series is usually composed of mid-range smartphones with decent performance but intermediate cameras. With the T4 Ultra, Vivo seems to be doing a major shift with a new smartphone that has a camera described as “flagship-level”.

Looking at the phone’s camera island in the video. It’s possible to spot a “100x” inscription. Obviously, this is the biggest target of the teaser, to show us the “100x zooming” capabilities. Obviously this will be achieved through digital zoom. As per the rumors, there will be a dedicated periscope camera handling the “flagship-grade zoom” capabilities.

Unfortunately, the teaser is everything we have about the Vivo T4 Ultra right now. The phone is just teased as “coming soon,” and there is still no clear indication about the launch date. Anyway, it’s safe to assume it will be launched in June. Vivo wouldn’t begin the teaser campaign for a device that still has a long time before release.

Vivo T4 Ultra Specifications and Features

As per the rumors, the Vivo T4 Ultra will feature a 6.67-inch OLED screen with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The phone will sport a 50 MP main camera using Sony’s IMX921 sensor. As aforementioned, the phone will feature a 50 MP periscope telephoto shooter. It will be responsible for the flagship-level zooming. It’s an interesting choice for a device that used to belong to the mid-range department. The device will be placed in the flagship category with the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC. MediaTek’s 2024 flagship CPU still stands as one of the best CPUs in the market with its unique BIG core-only architecture.

The handset will come with 90W charging, and we expect a powerful battery with more than 5,000 mAh capacity. Other rumored specifications include 8 GB of RAM and Android 14. The Vivo T4 Ultra will join the Vivo T4 and T4x.
